O God, the maker and Redeemer of all people: Grant to all faithful departed the unsearchable benefits of the passion our Son; Grant that, on the day of his appearing, they may be manifested as your children.
We remember those known to us who have died, (especially N.) We give thanks for the blessings and challenges they presented to us.
We give thanks for N. and all others who have enriched our lives and strengthen our faith. We pray also for N., and any who have hurt or harmed us, that we, in our hearts, may find forgiveness and release them from our lives.
We pray for all who have died in service to their country, especially N. We pray also for the victims of war, famine, and illness.
We pray that we may live each day in hope and expectation that we will be reunited with those whom we love and whose memory will complete.
All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
